The golden girl of Indian table tennis, Manika Batra, will turn out for Bengaluru Smashers in the team's debut Season. A UTT champion from Season 2, Manika is a CWG gold medalist, a two-time Olympian and has three gold medals from the 2016 South Asian Games among multiple other table tennis honours. Inspired by the contributions of PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal to Indian badminton, Manika aspires to make a similar impact in Indian table tennis, having been awarded the Khel Ratna and Arjuna Award.
