The highly anticipated coaches draft for the second season of the CEAT Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) will take place on 26th February, 2018. All six franchises will participate in the draft, looking to rope in the best coaches possible for their respective teams.

Before the draft begins, certain rules and regulations have been laid down which give a better understanding of the complete process that will take place on Monday. The proceedings will commence in Mumbai, where a draft pool of two categories of coaches will be up for grabs. The two categories will include foreign coaches and Indian coaches. With a total of 12 different coaches to choose from, each team will have to pick a coach from each category to represent their teams.

To help the teams in making an informed decision, a list of all coaches taking part in the draft pool, along with their profiles will be circulated to the franchises prior to the draft. A total of three minutes will be given to each franchisee to announce its choice of coaches. If a franchisee fails to make its selection within the allocated time, then it will be understood that it has forfeited its right to select a coach and in such circumstances, the specific franchisee be able to get an opportunity to select a coach at the end of the next round.

Each of the Franchisee will be allocated a number from 1 to 6 using a double randomization procedure. The sequence of selections in the Draft Process has been designed to ensure a fair and equitable selection order. Table below lists the picks for each of the Franchisee for all rounds.

F1 = Franchisee 1, F2 = Franchisee 2, and so on
