Tie 4 of Ultimate Table Tennis will witness Chennai Lions take on Puneri Paltan Table Tennis at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex in New Delhi.

The Paltan enjoyed a dream debut in the tournament as they bested Season 2 champions Dabang Delhi T.T.C. to announce their arrival.

Ayhika Mukherjee, Chuang Chih-Yuan and Sabine winter starred for the new outfit in that win and will be shouldered with the responsibility to spearhead their cause again, this time against Sharath Kamal’s Lions.

Captain Harmeet Desai also had a good outing, but came up second best against Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, but will want to stake his claim as India’s upcoming paddler by registering a win against either Sharath or Tiago Apolonia.

The same goes for the Lions Petrissa Solja, who suffered a shock defeat in her first outing. There is a possibility Petrissa will be up against friend and fellow national teammate Sabine, a mouthwatering match indeed.

Chuang Chih-Yuan and Sharath Kamal, ex-teammates in Season 2, will be another possible matchup, and the battle of the legends is something table tennis fans will look forward to.

Will the quality in their side, Chennai Lions will fancy their chances today, but the Paltan will ride their current form to make it two in two.
